Pre-Festival Thoughts:
Having heard Foster the People at Firefly 2013, I wasn't bound to seeing them perform again. In particular, I hadn't listened to them between then and now, except for the most recent setlist time which every performing artist receives. With that being said, I gave them 7 out of 10 for my desire to see them.

Unfortunately, last time we saw them it wasn't so exciting, though perhaps it was because we were so far away. Being only familiar with their hits, and only knowing the lyrics to the chorus of 'Pumped Up Kicks', I gave Foster the People a 5 out of 10 for how I felt about their music (slightly below the average, 5.64).

Above Average: 'Helena Beat', 'Pumped Up Kicks', 'Call It What You Want'
Slightly Above Average: 'Life on the Nickel', 'Coming of Age'
On The Fence: ~
Below Average: 'Pumped Up Kicks'

Setlist:
1) Pseudologia Fantastica

2) Best Friend
3) Helena Beat
4) Life on the Nickel
5) Waste
-- the first time he played this song was at Firefly [two years ago]:
6) Coming of Age

7) Houdini
-- beat drops, long instrumental, transitions into the next song:
8) Call It What You Want -- I begin making my way to the Lawn Stage (to see Sublime with Rome)
9) Are You What You Want to Be?

10) [setlist.fm: Miss You]
11) The Truth -- my notes suggest this is the last song I heard before I could no longer hear the band.

-- The current setlist.fm setlist indicates that I missed them perform 'Pumped Up Kicks' and 'Don't Stop (Color on the Walls)'.

Post-Festival Thoughts:
My friends and I were a lot closer to the front than we were the last time we saw them. With that being said, the two reasons for not being super excited remained: I wasn't familiar with most of the lyrics and I was never fully engaged by their music.
