20141126 AM Hours:
Today I went through the Greed Corp tutorial and learned how to play the game. If you haven't played before, then I definitely recommend you play the tutorial first.

While I still have to check out the actual gameplay, I should note that cancelling actions from the left-hand menu was not intuitive.

Additionally, information such as attack range also appeared to be unintuitive. With that being said, the game is like a more advanced version of Risk: spawn reinforcements, conquer enemy soldiers, and conquer enemy territory.

20141126 Evening:
Today I gave the game the honest go through as I said I would.

I played the first three maps of the Freemen campaign. As far as I can tell, there isn't any difference between the different groups except their campaigns and perhaps their storyline.

Speaking of which, I like the storyline that comes before every level. If a player doesn't care for it, then fine, but otherwise it adds to the depth of the game.

Unfortunately, I find the game is a little slow and I am dislike how the game doesn't have an undo button. Sometimes I make a huge mistake that either costs me the game or that makes the game harder than it has to be. I'm not asking to undo past the other players turn, only that I should be able to undo any move made within my own turn.

In any case, I have mixed feelings about the game, and its unlike that I'd play game again. However, if you're short on strategy games, then you might want to check this one out.
