Marvin's Room features a solid cast as well as a solid story. If you like dramas that are thematically family-based, then I would recommend you watch Marvin's Room.

Hank (Leonardo DiCaprio)
Note that Marvin's Room has a heavy moment or two, but overall its a light drama, especially compared to Ordinary People (1980), another drama which focuses on the family.

Yeah, that's a lot of tests.

Dr. Wally (Robert De Niro)
"He started it."
Ok. So far we see that both sisters basically ignore the other's existence.
Ha. "Charlie, here. Light this for him please."
Ha! "I think he thinks he's hallucinating."

Lee and her older son Hank
Twenty years!
Ha! "Eight-six!"
Hehe. That garage door.
Haha. The relationship between Lee and her sons.

The fight at the fifty-nine minute mark was intense.
Wow. That's quite a plot revelation.
"My feelings for you, Hank, are like a big bowl of... fish hooks. I can't just pick up one up at a time. I pick one up and they all come, so I just had to leave 'em alone."

Hank drives the car along the beach shoreline, splashing his Aunt Bessie
Haha. Goofy carried her to Mickey's house.
