While I've forgotten most of the movie's plot by now (20151017), I grew up watching various (film/film-adapted) musicals and so musicals have continued to interest me over the years.

From what I remember, There's No Business Like Show Business (1954) was had fun musical numbers and a bit of light drama and romance to stir up the plot and move the story along.
