Q gives 007 a case that explodes if opened incorrectly.
20130826:
Honestly, I didn't pay much attention to the movie, but I read the plot summary on Wikipedia after I finished it. I also went back and also read the plot summary to Dr. No, because the motives of the main antagonist in the second movie were founded on the first.

In any case, From Russia with Love was certainly as good as, if not better than its predecessor, Dr. No (1962).

Instant Comments:
I wonder if I ever realized that the opening scene is through the barrel of a gun. This opening was also used in the first film, Dr. No.
Interesting opening (the scene that follows the gun barrel intro).
Even more interesting are the opening credits.
No. 3 and No. 5.

Checking for bugs.
Is Austin Powers and Dr. Evil a parody of James Bond and this criminal with his cat and numbered henchmen? The answer is more or less yes. Apparently Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) spoofs several James Bond movies. According to IMDb.com, Bond movies spoofed by the first movie include Dr. No (1962), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), Casino Royale (1967), Diamonds are Forever (1971), Live and Let Die (1973), Octopussy (1983), and GoldenEye (1995).

Number 1 and his cat.

I don't remember the last movie having any special gadgets. [20130827: Boothroyd, commonly known as Q, comes in to replace 007's Beretta with a Walther PPK. This, however, was the extent of weaponry for the movie Dr. No]
Hehe. He signs the photo, "With Love" before deciding to precede it with "From Russia."
Ha. "They follow us, we follow them. It's a sort of understanding we have."
HAHAHA. "She should have kept her mouth shut." That's a real funny one.

Tatiana Romanova and James Bond.
"All I want is that nectar."
Hehe. "Red wine with fish."
Now this is a real fight...
Hehe. That's what you get when you meet the real James Bond.

Number 3 and Morzeny.
"You won't be needing this, 'Old Man'."
Why did they slow down when the drums were released. So silly.
Ha. I feel like her attempts at kicking him with the blade were terrible.
Haha. "She had her kicks."
The credits roll, stating that the movie is not quite the end, and James Bond will return in Goldfinger (1964).
