Movie Django Unchained (2012)

I wrote: "Django Unchained was funny and suspenseful. It was long, but engaging and great. I don't remember watching any trailers for it, and constantly surprised by the events of the movie as a whole. It is definitely characteristic of Tarantino's work." 7:31PM PT

There is however one part of the movie which I didn't think fit story-wise. It was like trying to shove together two jig-saw puzzle pieces which sort of match in shape and color, but weren't actually meant to be together. Mashing the pieces together is enjoying, but one can't help but notice something is wrong.

Of course, aside from that one plot point, the movie was a lot of fun to watch. Though I fully like the first half of the movie, I only like most of the second half. In particular, I like Leonardo DiCaprio's role as Calvin Candie. Though my favorite character in the movie is Dr. King Schultz, played by Christopher Waltz.
