I wrote: "This Monk's Blood, maybe after eating cheese crackers, is real bitter. The can was a bit shaken up during the walk from my office to my apartment: some beer dripped over the sides, but not much. Alcoholic taste. Like strong, complex Belgian ales." 6:33 PM

On 20120613, I learned the beer is in fact a (strong) Belgian dark ale.

I wrote: "When the taste settles and coats the mouth, the beer is tastes better, but overall not an enjoyable experience. In contrast the Sam Adams is drinkable and while not particularly special, it is refreshing." 6:59 PM

Comes in a four-pack.
