20120112:
This is one of the funniest Jackie Chan movies I've ever seen. I would also like to say that I enjoyed the English dubbing for this movie. Of course, if I ever got my hands on the DVD, I'd certainly try watching it with Cantonese audio and English subtitles. If you like humor, Jackie Chan, martial arts, or action movies, then this movie might be down your alley. If you like any combination of those, then I'd definitely recommend you watch this movie.

Interestingly, the Wikipedia article says the following, "The film experimented with various elaborate stunt action sequences in a period setting, serving as a transition between Chan's earlier comedy kung fu period films (such as Drunken Master and The Young Master) and his later stunt-oriented modern action films (such as Project A and Police Story)." While I had the following to say in my Project A 2 (1987) post: "Better than [Project A 2] is Rumble in the Bronx (1995) and Little Big Soldier (2010). I'd say better than those, preferring more traditional martial art movies, are The Young Master (1980), Drunken Master (1978), and Snake in the Eagle's Shadow (1978)."

lol, "it's heavy" I laughed quite a bit at that one
nine little ten little Indians
haha empty the dragon.
lol poem reading antics
omg the gun being shot right after Dragon looks down the barrel
watching the little match in the middle of the movie was fun. and then of course the ending where the shuttlecock hits the girl. hahahaha
lol the ending of Jackie Chan getting the kite and he looks to be doing a one finger pull up. lol
for the most part, the fighting style and the tone of the movie is humorous. one of the more slapstick funny Jackie Chan movies.
the last battle, though it seems Dragon's skill level and condition stand no chance against the antagonist, somehow he manages to win in the end. best explained by luck
omg, hahahaha with the cannon hahahaha.
credits just role over a still of the last frame of the movie and are in English
