Kinda fruity like a red wine. Yes... That's what I'm most reminded of red wine. Love the smell. Definitely strong. Not best, but good. After about half, the dominant smell is alcohol. Not much like wine taste."

Brother Thelonious is to the left of the keg with the green and orange stripe.
Yes, I definitely remember just smelling the alcohol after I drank about the cup. I wasn't surprised how dominant the smell was. I asked my friend for a second opinion. He agreed the dominant smell was alcohol. It's curious I didn't smell this when I first got the drink. Maybe the fried chicken strips, fries, barbeque sauce, ranch, or maple dijon altered the taste.

Maybe the beer was less than good, maybe it was just okay. I'd wait at least a year before trying this beer again.

Josh thinks it tastes like violet crumble (light, airy, substantial). Overall, I find it strong and sweet." 9:52PM PT
